               1.      Employees Performing Safety-Sensitive Functions Holders of Commercial Driver’s License


                   a.  The School District of Palm Beach County hereby affirms its commitment to maintaining a drug-
                       and alcohol-free workplace.

                   b.  This Policy shall apply to all District employees, job applicants and volunteers who are required
                       by their job descriptions to perform safety sensitive functions and are required to maintain a
                       valid (Florida) Commercial Driver’s License ("CDL").

                   c.  This Policy implements the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act (OTETA), Pub. L. 102-
                       143, codified at 49 U.S.C. § 701, et seq.
