  Rear emergency door (if equipped) opens and closes smoothly, hinge locks in open position
                     Exhaust pipe (be careful of regeneration  heat coming from pipe)

               Operator’s Side:
                     Clearance, turn signal and four-way/emergency lights are functioning and lens are proper color,
                       not cracked, broken or missing
                     Reflective tape, lettering and reflectors are secure, not damaged
                     Stop arms are fully extended, securely mounted, lenses not cracked or broken
                     Rear tires:  pressure, damage, evenly worn, minimum 2/32 depth, evenly spaced and no foreign
                       objects
                     Rims not bent, cracked or welded
                     Lug nuts not loose, missing, rust or distortion
                     Mud flap secure and no damage
                     Side emergency door (if equipped) opens and closes smoothly, hinge locks in open position
                     Battery and fuse doors are secure
                     Front tire pressure, damage, tread wear and minimum 4/32 depth
                     Rims not bent, cracked or welded
                     Lug nuts not loose, missing, rust or distortion
                     Hub seal not cracked, leaking and above refill
                     Mud flap secure, no damage

               Front of Bus:
                     Clearance, amber/red student warning, headlight (high & low beams)turn signal and four-
                       way/emergency lights are functioning and lens are not cracked, broken or missing
                     Flat, convex and crossview mirrors are mounted securely, clean and not missing
                     Student cross arm is securely mounted and fully extended
                     Hood secured and no fluid leaks (front engine)

               Inside Bus Check

               Walk Down Aisle-Check:

                     General cleanliness of bus, windows, seats, aisle and floor
                     Front of seat backs and seat cushions for graffiti and damage; seat cushions secure to frames and
                       frames secure to the floor
                     Seat belts not twisted, worn, cut or missing
                     Emergency door opens  and alarm functions
                     Lift (if equipped): check for hydraulic leaks, handle for manual operation

               Walk Up Aisle-Check:

                     Rear of seat backs graffiti,  damage or need for repair
                     Emergency exit windows open and close smoothly, no damage,  alarm is functioning
                     Emergency roof hatches: open and close
