District Wellness...
Message from Leadership
“The last couple of years have challenged the wellness of each of us. Many of us have
had to endure great loss, social isolation, and increased health related issues. The ‘Whole
School, Whole Community, Whole Child’ model has never been more important to lead
us through this pandemic. As a community, we must work together to support our
students, colleagues, and families. Through working together, we will be stronger than
ever. It is our time to shine!”
Keith Oswald, Deputy Superintendent/Chief of Schools
“Being committed to your wellness provides peace and comfort to the mind, body, and
soul. It is essential to commit to self-care as it allows your body to heal and stay healthy.
Making wellness a priority creates the daily opportunity for your glass to be refilled with
positive thoughts and energy.”
Glenda Sheffield, Ed. D., Chief Academic Officer
“I’m so proud to be part of a District that values Wellness and recognizes the positive
impact that a healthy lifestyle has on student, staff and family’s lives. By embracing the
Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child culture, we can improve outcomes for
our entire community. I look forward to continuing to participate in and support our
wellness programs.”
Ed Tierney, Chief of Staff
