Middle School Afterschool
The Middle School Afterschool (MSAS) program resumed in-person programming in FY22. The MSAS
program sponsored its three (3) annual events:
• Robotics Competition
• 3-3 Basketball Tournament
• Academic Flag Football Jamboree (AFF).
These events were in partnership with Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and Green Mouse
Academy, both long-time partners of the MSAS program.
21st Century Community Learning Centers
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) holds 14 grants that serviced approximately
2,300 students during out-of-school time and summer months. To establish personalized learning
opportunities for all students, the grant program was able to:
• Conduct over 260 family service events to engage and support parents with the development of the
whole child.
• Offer over 190 Expanded Learning Opportunities through a partnership with Primetime.
• Increase the number of community partners and resources to support the social, mental, physical, and
financial needs of students.
• Formulate a partnership with UF/IFAS Extension Palm Beach County to assist the families of our
participating students with home ownership.
