75Finally, the SLL team expanded the SLL Climate and Culture House System cohort to 21 schools. Now in its fourth year, this initiative is based on the work from Ron Clark Academy%u2019s House System, designed to build character and foster a positive school-wide community. Seventeen (17) elementary and four (4) middle schools participated in the cohort, working to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff, strengthen relationships, and build character. The House System grouped students and staff into smaller communities, called Houses, ensuring everyone felt a sense of belonging. It provided opportunities for students to socialize with peers outside of their classes and interact with positive adult role models beyond their teachers. As a result of implementing the House System in FY25, 92% of participating schools saw a decrease in office discipline referrals, and 62% reported increased proficiency scores in ELA and Math. Positive & Supportive Climate
