eForms and ImageQuest
to be used for Drop Safe Logs
Beginning in October, the District’s eForms system and document
imaging system, ImageQuest (IQ), will be used to store Drop Safe
Logs, allowing easy recording and retrieval of this vital information.
On a monthly basis, school bookkeepers will complete an eForm and
scan and attach the associated logs. Once submitted, the form and
attachments will automatically export into IQ.
Don’t Use Emojis
in eForms
“I can’t get my eForms items to open !”
If a user is unable to open items in their eForms Inbox or Sent items,
the account has been corrupted because an emoji has been used in
the form. As a result, both the form originator and recipient will be
unable to get to part or all of their eForms items. The eForms software
is unable to translate emojis into useful information and locks the
account as a way of protecting the data within the form. These symbols
are commonly used in texting and while they may be fine for personal
and casual communication, they may not be appropriate for business
use. While a picture is worth a thousand words, clearly typing out what
you are trying to convey will help to ensure that your message and
its context are clearly understood. It is also worth remembering that
content added to District forms may be produced as part of a public
records request.
