Garden Maintenance (SharePoint - Tab 5)
To ensure that there is a clear understanding regarding the
garden maintenance responsibilities, please see below.
School Staff, Administration and Students are
responsible for:
· ALL garden maintenance.
· Planting, weeding, refurbishing/replacing wood for raised
beds, dismantling/shutting down raised beds, etc.) is the
sole responsibility of the school administration, faculty and
students.
Support Provided by Maintenance and Plant
Operations Department (MPO)
· Irrigation – MPO will repair existing irrigation systems. They
will NOT install or repair new irrigation systems.
· Pests – MPO will address ant and rodent issues only! Please
be advised, if additional pest control measures are required
as a result of neglecting to remove dropped or ripened fruit
and vegetables, the school is responsible for the expense to
implement the solution.
