Parents and Guardians,

The School District of Palm Beach County is proud of its extensive curriculum offerings, providing students in
K-12 with engaging and rigorous academic instruction by qualified instructors who are certified in specific fields.
With more than 300 Choice and Career programs available in our schools, we are committed to remaining your
best choice in Palm Beach County for personalized academic instruction.

This year’s theme is “Innovate Your World”, and I can’t think of a better way to describe our efforts in the District
during this unprecedented time. We pivoted from in-person instruction to distance learning in March, and then
reopened our campuses again in September. We adjusted to a new educational reality, and through it all we
remained committed to ensuring that our students reach their highest potential and are prepared for post-
graduate success.

We never lost sight of how important it is for families to make an informed choice about where to send their
children. The District is always here to assist you during this process, and together we will ensure that the special
interests, talents, and career goals of our students remain at the forefront of everything we do.

Our Choice and Career programs set the stage for achievement by providing a wide variety of learning options
ranging from computer programming and the performing arts to world languages, and science, technology,
engineering, and math education (STEM). Students are exposed to challenging coursework which gives them all
the tools necessary for success, while nurturing their various passions, aptitudes, and gifts.
This booklet is your guide to the abundance of Choice and Career programs available in the School District
of Palm Beach County. This booklet will also serve as a valuable outline of the District’s centralized application
