District Accreditation

The District was awarded the Certificate of
Accreditation from Cognia for 2023 - 2029 by
exceeding expectations with a score of 350
out of 400 possible points during the system
review. Evaluators used evidence-based criteria
to determine the effectiveness of the District’s
institutional processes, programs, and practices
in improving student learning and organizational
effectiveness. The findings were organized around
four key characteristics: Culture of Learning,
Leadership of Learning, Engagement of Learning,
and Growth in Learning.

The District was recognized for noteworthy
practices that reflect significant strengths as a
result of the accreditation process. The District was
also recognized for developing and implementing
the strategic plan and the stellar professional
learning program, each designed to maximize
continuous improvement processes in a student- Certificate of Accreditation from Cognia for 2023 - 2029
centered, equity-embedded culture of learning.
