The IT Division’s project team was awarded the inaugural “Project of the Year”
award for 2021 by the South Florida Chapter of the Project Management
Institute on Thursday, December 4, 2021. The winning project was selected
among the entries by both public and private sector organizations for the
District’s Student 1:1 Device Initiative. This critically important project provided
almost 100,000 devices to students to allow hybrid, personalized distance
learning at home in an extremely compressed timeline during tremendously
difficult circumstances.
We wish our students well on their upcoming EOC exams, assessments, and
the rest of this academic year. In closing, I sincerely hope you enjoy this edition
of TIME and welcome feedback from our readers.
