2021 YEAR IN REVIEW
IT DIVISION
IT Enterprise Applications
The Enterprise Applications team provides support, development and analysis
for a large variety of applications across the District. They also provide data
integrations, provisioning and other support for on-prem, hosted and hybrid
solutions. Major initiatives in 2021 included:
• Hosted Portal - completed provisioning transition to the cloud
• Raptor Emergency Management Module
• ERP Database Conversion - converted to Oracle from DB2
• COVID-19 Testing and Tracking Apps - allow contact tracing and
reporting
• COVID-19 Dashboard - ongoing enhancements
• Non-Instructional Employee Evaluation App
• Transportation Dashboard - dashboard and reports providing KPIs (key
performance indicators) and insight into critical daily metrics
IT Project Management Office
The IT PMO continues to deliver high-quality project management for
technology-oriented initiatives in IT and across the District. The team works
closely with stakeholders, knowledge experts and vendors to ensure quality
outcomes for critical projects.
The IT PMO also assists with pre-project work, including proof-of-concepts,
pre-acquisition requirements, and liaison with non-IT departments for
technology needs and opportunities.

• Teacher Laptop Refresh
• District-Wide Phone System Upgrade
• Fleet-Wide Bus WiFi
• SIEM Proof-of-Concept & Implementation

• EDW Database Conversion to MS SQL
• Hosted Portal
Calendar year 2021 ended on a familiar note, with yet another variant of
COVID-19 (Omicron) moving rapidly across the country. While the pandemic
continues to cast a long shadow over all aspects of life, we will always strive to
provide technology solutions to assist with the changing needs of our students,
faculty, staff and community - now, and in the future.
