ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Elementary School Eligibility Criteria
Pre–K and Elementary School Programs—All Other Programs
All students are eligible for Pre–K and Elementary Choice programs as there are no eligibility criteria with the exception of the
International Spanish Academy* and Spanish Dual Language programs*.
International Spanish Academy: For grades 2–5, each school may determine a student’s eligibility by using an oral interview
along with a Spanish reading inventory or other available Spanish content assessments.
Spanish Dual Language: For grades 2–5, each school may determine a student’s eligibility for the Dual Language program by
using an oral interview along with a Spanish reading inventory or other available Spanish content assessments.
*Newly arrived Spanish-speaking English Language Learners (ELL) should be automatically admitted into the program at their
zoned school. Please contact your school for immediate assistance with program admission.

Middle School Eligibility Criteria
Middle school programs do not have eligibility criteria with the exception of the following school programs. Students must meet
the published eligibility in order to be considered eligible for the lottery:

Bak Middle School of the Arts- Eligible audition score required.
Communications, Dance, Music–Band, Music–Keyboard/Piano, Music–Orchestral/Strings, Music–Vocal, Theatre, Visual Arts

Conniston Community Middle School- Eligible score on Spanish assessment required.
Spanish Dual Language

L.C. Swain Middle- Eligible score on Spanish assessment required.
Spanish Dual Language

Lake Worth Middle- Minimum state assessment score of 3, internal assessment, essay, and interview required.
Biomedical Sciences (FAU College of Medicine)
Lake Worth Middle School- Eligible score on Spanish assessment required.
Spanish Dual Language
North Grade K-8- Eligible score on Spanish assessment required.
Global Language Academy
Okeeheelee Middle- Eligible score on Spanish assessment required.
International Spanish Academy (ISA)

Palm Springs Community Middle- Eligible score on Spanish assessment required.
International Spanish Academy (ISA)

Roosevelt Community Middle- Minimum state assessment score of 3, internal assessment, essay, and interview required.
Biomedical Sciences (FAU College of Medicine)

The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach- Eligible audition score required.
Music–Band , Music–Orchestral Strings, & Music–Vocal
