HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Automotive Service Technology Available School Options
The Automotive Service Technology program provides hands–on training in a fully
integrated, computerized, state–of–the art facility. This academy prepares students for Choice
employment and/or specialized training in the automotive industry including automotive · Park Vista Community High
lubrication, automotive brake system, automobile suspension and steering, automotive In–House
electrical/electronic system, and automotive engine performance. This program focuses · Seminole Ridge Community High
on understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the automotive
industry: planning, management, finance, technical and product skills, as well as the
underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues and health, safety and
environmental issues. There are no eligibility criteria required for students applying to
this program.
Aviation and Aerospace Technology Available School Options
The Aviation and Aerospace Technology program at West Boca Raton Community
High School is designed to prepare students for a career in the aviation industry. The Choice: None available
program immerses students in the latest cutting-edge technology in Aviation and In–House
Airport Management including but not limited to: pilot knowledge, aerodynamic · West Boca Raton Community High
principles, airspace, weather, flight deck instruments, Federal Aviation Regulations
(FARs), radio communications, safety, and airport management. West Boca Raton
Community High School has partnered with both the Boca Airport Authority and Lynn
University to offer students a myriad of experience opportunities, dual high school and
college credits, and practical aviation industry experience within the local community.
All students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.5
GPA.
Available School Options
Band/Music Industry
The core curriculum for students interested in pursuing the Band/Music Industry academy Choice
is Music Theory, Advanced International Certificate in Education (AICE) Music for college · Santaluces Community High
credit, Commercial Music, and band or chorus ensembles. The Music academy offers honors In–House: None available
credits in instrumental and vocal music as well as a unique music theater course. Students
have opportunities for multiple ensemble experiences. The Commercial Music course is
designed for students interested in the production of popular music. The commercial music
track covers all different aspects related to music production in today’s music industry. All
students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.0 GPA.

Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences
The Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences Academy is a challenging, career- Choice
focused program for students interested in medical and health science careers, offering · Atlantic Community High
concentrations in Allied Health, Biomedical Engineering, and Dentistry. The curriculum, In–House: None available
taught by industry-certified instructors, balances academic excellence with hands-on
technical skills, which are further developed through clinical internships with local healthcare
facilities. Successful completion of this four-year course of study prepares students for
college-level medical sciences or entry-level healthcare employment and allows them
to earn valuable industry certifications such as Certified EKG Technician (CET), Certified
Patient Care Technician Assistant (CPCT/A), and Biotechnology Aptitude and Competency
Exam (BACE). All students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility
criteria: 3.0 GPA.
