HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Commercial Digital Photography- Innovative Interactive Technology Available School Options
This Commercial Digital Photography Program features in-depth skills in all aspects of Choice
digital photography, including the details of equipment and software use. The secondary · Suncoast High School
courses in this pathway allow students to follow the more artistic aspects of photography In–House: None available
and application. Industry certification in Adobe Photoshop is offered in this course of study.
The Commercial Digital Photography pathway prepares students for career opportunities
in the many fields of photography, including advertising, aerial, commercial, crime scene,
photojournalism, wedding, wildlife and many more specialized areas of photography.
There are no eligibility criteria required for students applying to this program.
Communication Arts Available School Options
The Communication Arts program is the first of its kind to exist anywhere in the United
States. It offers a multi-strand curriculum that promotes proficiency in speech and debate, Choice
print and broadcast journalism, yearbook, creative writing, graphic design, digital video/ · A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
film production, and television production. The program prepares students to be leaders in In–House: None available
the various fields of Communications through participation in performances, publications
and productions. All students applying to this program must meet the following
eligibility criteria: 2.0 GPA and an qualifying audition score.
Computer Science Available School Options
The Computer Science program is designed to meet the needs of highly motivated students
who wish to major in one of the various fields within the Computer Science industry. The Choice
program strives to provide college bound students with rigorous learning opportunities · Glades Central Community High
in an environment rich in quality instruction, hand-on experiences, and course offerings. · Suncoast High School*
Students acquire a well-rounded foundation in the basic aspects of computing to include · West Boca Raton High (AP Computer

as mathematics and science. All students applying to this program must meet the In–House:

*Suncoast High School only: A GPA of 3.0 or higher in each of the required math courses:
Algebra I Honors and Geometry Honors. Grades earned during each marking period will
be used to calculate the GPA for each math course. Verification of enrollment in the
required math courses is required at time of application submission. Proof of completion
of the required courses must be submitted via email by May 29, 2026 to deverie.yazar@
palmbeachschools.org.
Computer Technology Available School Options
The Computer Technology program prepares goal-oriented students interested in any field
of study for a future rigorous collegiate atmosphere. It provides highly competitive honors Choice

GPA, Algebra 1 Honors*. In–House: None available
