HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS



        Cybersecurity                                                                  Available School Options
        The Cybersecurity Academy is supported by The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and the   Choice
        Education Foundation of Palm Beach County. This program offers high school students
        an opportunity to begin a pathway to prepare for in demand careers stressing personal     · Santaluces Community High
        accountability and the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity   In–House: None available
        at work and at home.  A sequence of courses provides coherent and rigorous content
        aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and
        skills needed to prepare for further education and cybersecurity-related careers.  The
        curriculum includes, but is not limited to, foundational knowledge and skills in computer
        and network security, security vulnerabilities, attack mechanisms and techniques, intrusion
        detection and prevention, risk identification, incidence response, access control, and
        recovery.  Specialized courses focus on database security, planning and analysis, software,
        and web security. Students who graduate from this program earn skills as an Information
        Security Analyst and can earn a variety of different related industry certifications required
        by potential future employers. All students applying to this program must meet the
        following eligibility criteria:  2.5 GPA.

        The Dance program offers rigorous instruction for the serious dance student. Dance enables   Choice

        Digital Arts & Photography                                                     Available School Options
        The Digital Arts & Photography program (formerly Digital Media) is a fine arts major with
        a  core focus  on  photography  and  digital  art.   Students  will learn digital  creative  skills   Choice
        including digital illustration, graphic design, animation, video, and motion graphics.       · A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
        The photography component of our department teaches students analog photography   In–House: None Available
        techniques, including how to use a manual 35mm film camera, black and white film
        developing, print and alternative processes. Students in this program work with both still
        and moving images, along with traditional and digital media in order to create a diverse
        portfolio with a strong personal voice. All students applying to this program must meet
        the following eligibility criteria: 3.0 GPA and an qualifying audition score.
