HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Available School Options Construction
The Construction Academy provides students with the foundational and technical skills
Choice required for postsecondary education and employment in the building construction

certifications through NCCER and participate in professional internships. There are no
eligibility criteria required for students applying to these programs.
Available School Options Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice program offers a sequence of courses that provide coherent and
Choice rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical

· Glades Central Community High pathways within the Law, Public Safety and Security Career Cluster through project–
· Lake Worth Community High based, hands–on learning activities. Practical skills and field exercises include: courtroom
In–House demeanor and testifying, report writing, identification, collection and preservation of
· Forest Hill Community High evidence, interviewing techniques, radio communications, patrol techniques, traffic
· Jupiter Community High* direction, traffic crash investigations, defensive tactics, CPR, First Aid, and fingerprinting.
· Santaluces Community High College credit opportunities are an available benefit for eligible Criminal Justice Academy
students through articulation agreements with local colleges and universities.
All students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.5
GPA. Applicants must pass a background check for continuation in the program.
*Students participating in the program at Jupiter High School will receive an educational
experience that includes an emphasis on the study of law. In addition to the Criminal Justice
curriculum, students may take a sequence of courses to include Law Studies, Legal Systems &
Concepts, International Law, Constitutional Law, and Comprehensive Law.
Available School Options Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts program curriculum provides the opportunity for students to train for a
Choice variety of careers in the field of food service and preparation. Academic and technical studies

· Palm Beach Central High control, nutrition and sanitation, and workplace safety. Practical work experience stresses
