        The Department of Exceptional Student Education (ESE) offered a variety of pre-recorded trainings this
        year to afterschool staff working with specific needs students.
          •  Afterschool Basic Introduction to Working with Students with Disabilities - This course trains on
              basic key elements and provides a general overview of how best to support students with disabilities
              including Disability Awareness and ESE Process.
          •  Afterschool Program Needs for Learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder - The Autism Spectrum
              Disorder training teaches participants vital information on the sensory needs, behavior and manifestations
              associated with Autism.  This course provides valuable tools and best practice strategies for supporting
              students with autism spectrum disorders.

          •  Afterschool Program Needs for Learners with Emotional Behavioral Disabilities  -  This  course
              provides valuable tools and best practice strategies for supporting students with emotional behavioral
              disorders including key understandings.

          •  Utilizing Prompting to Support Student with Disabilities - This class trains on how to best implement
              strategies for those working with students with disabilities including types of prompts; prompt fading;
              supporting students with prompting and considerations for distance learning.


          •  Utilizing Strategies to Support Students with Disabilities - This course trains on how to best implement
              prompting strategies for those working with students with disabilities including instructional control
              and pairing, reinforcement, prompting, wait time, utilizing visuals, and behavioral momentum.
