Prevention Programs
Outstanding prevention programs were offered in collaboration with community health partners to provide
exceptional services to address and prevent health issues within schools. In FY21, we partnered with the
FDOH to provide the following services:
• Communicable Disease Control – The Florida Health Palm Beach County’s School Health Division provid-
ed immunization expertise through review of students’ records and by conducting immunization training
and education. In addition, the FHPBC’s Epidemiology Department provided expert guidance in respond-
ing to COVID-19 positive and/or exposure cases.
