Our District participated in the FY22 Let’s Move: Commit to Change Physical Activity Challenge supported
by Palm Health Foundation and Digital Vibez. The ‘Let’s Move’ initiative has become a springboard for our
District; the goal of which is to promote physical activity, and focus on good nutrition and healthy behaviors
for at least 30 minutes a day throughout the month of March 2022.

The District’s Team - THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH COUNTY - had over 90 sub-teams participate in the
Challenge and collectively logged a total of 2,349,931 physical activity minutes. At the Let’s Move Celebration
and Awards Ceremony, not only did the District won 3rd Place Most Minutes Logged; Belvedere Elementary took
2nd place in the Sub-Team with the most minutes logged category.

Our goal is to continue supporting overall wellness -- in this case, the Whole School, Whole Community,
Whole Child (WSCC) culture through Physical Education and Physical Activity WSCC component is such an
important contributor to the overall health of our students and staff.
