                                    88 FY25 Wellness Promotion Policy (WPP) Annual Report Back to MenuHealth EducationThe Teen Parent Program (TPP), a voluntary initiative managed by the Department of Safe Schools, provides pregnant and parenting students with education, childcare, and essential health services. Each year, students must submit required documentation, including a signed parent consent form, to remain in the program and attend school daily. By collaborating with families and school staff, the TPP helps teen parents meet graduation requirements and build community connections.Program Support & Requirements%u008a Academic Support: The TPP team provides wraparound services through parent conferences and school-based meetings.%u008a Mandatory Coursework: Participants must complete a 0.5-credit Parenting Skills course via Palm Beach or Florida Virtual School.%u008a Essential Resources: The TPP Case Manager assesses needs during intake to provide hygiene kits, diapers, and clothing.Partnerships & ImpactTPP collaborates with the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County to provide childcare vouchers%u2014serving 48 students countywide%u2014and partners with the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County to ensure healthy pregnancies and births.
