                                     91Health Education21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC)As part of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative, the program continues to uphold the commitment to providing students with meaningful wellness and physical activities that support their overall development beyond academics.In alignment with Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the District ensures that all participating students engage in a minimum of 30 minutes of daily physical and wellness activities during non-school hours. These activities are intentionally designed to promote healthy lifestyles, social-emotional learning, and physical well-being.Summary of Wellness and Physical Activities: Through partnership with Prime-Time Palm Beach County, the following Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELOs) are offered throughout the reporting period:Sports & Physical FitnessSoccer, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Pickleball, and Spikeball.Creative Movement & DevelopmentDance classes and performance-based activities.Health & Nutrition Education%u008a University of Florida%u2019s Nutrition Program.%u008a FLIPANY (Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth) offering hands-on wellness education, nutrition workshops, and cooking demos.Wellness & Personal Growth Workshops%u008a Girls on the Run %u2013 A program that promotes empowerment, confidence, and healthy lifestyles through physical activity and mentoring.%u008a Youth Speak Out International %u2013 Helping students use their voice for global change by teaching media literacy and fostering civic engagement through storytelling, video, and social advocacy projects.These offerings not only meet ESSA guidelines but also enrich the daily experience of students, providing them with structured, engaging, and health-focused activities that promote lifelong habits of wellness. We remain committed to enhancing wellness programming and will continue to collaborate with partners and staff to meet the evolving needs of our students.
