99FY25 Accomplishments%u008a The customized focus of employees%u2019 needs continues to grow each year, which further drives engagement in our programs. Some of the added programming in FY25, which focused on individual needs, include: o Offering new virtual support groups catered to specific needs, such as menopause. o The addition to our Staff Sports program of local walks and runs, as well as a connection to all PBC Parks and Recreation facilities and services.o Launching a self-paced blood pressure program. o Creating sun safety kits and education to prevent skin cancer in our employees who work primarily outdoors, including physical education teachers, and maintenance staff.o Special programming designed for our custodians and maintenance staff members, and translated materials provided to meet employees%u2019 needs. %u008a The goals set forth by the Superintendent to improve the mental health resources and knowledge of resources available to employees were accomplished. This allowed for the closure of the C.2c initiative, as the work and programs created through the strategic plan for employee mental health have been embedded in current work. %u008a Funding was provided for additional relaxation rooms, resulting in a total of 117 schools and 25 departments with designated employee spaces.%u008a Gardens were created at several Transportation facilities and at the TEN Building, allowing department staff to engage and benefit from gardening, with support from the Joseph P Cory Foundation and funding through OneBlood Wellness Program donations.Employee Wellness
