Strategic Communications & Engagement
The School District of Palm Beach County is your best choice for education and employment. During FY24, the Department
of Strategic Communications & Engagement highlighted this central theme through various communication strategies,
including television commercials, radio spots, billboards, direct mailers, social media posts, and online and printed
advertisements. The Communications Department and The Education Network collaborated with various departments
and schools to increase job applications, Choice applications, and kindergarten enrollment.
The department showcased:
• Employees’ children enticed job seekers by explaining why their parents love the unmatched benefits and sense of job
fulfillment they receive by working for the District.
• Current Choice program students shared their career aspirations, and former Choice program alumni showed how
they turned classroom lessons into careers in their chosen fields.
• The incoming kindergarten class, Class of 2037, and the need to register to embark on their academic journeys in the fall.
Through a strong and unified front, the Communications Department and District-operated schools successfully increased
foot traffic at job fairs, witnessed large turnouts at Kindergarten Round-Up events, and observed a surge in the number
of students applying for Choice programs. This collaborative effort, in tandem with the ongoing community engagement
initiatives for our English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole communities, is a testament to our shared commitment to the
District’s success.
Consistent branding unites the District’s marketing campaigns over television, traditional mail, and signage.
