Back to School Risk Reduction Strategies
Modified Activities
Controlled Movement Patterns
✓ Students will practice social distancing from the arrival on campus through
departure.
✓ Grab and Go breakfasts will be available, and where possible, eaten in classrooms
in order to deter students from congregating in the lunchroom.
✓ Staggered arrival & dismissal schedules may be utilized in an effort to allow for
social distancing.
✓ Students will move in controlled patterns throughout the day based on procedures
as described by the school site.
Mass Gatherings
✓ Pep rallies, in-person assemblies and other large gatherings will not be permitted until
further notice.
Access to School Sites
✓ Access to school sites will be limited. Visitors must schedule an appointment to access
the campus. Further details can be found in Policy 2.065
✓ Requests to access a school site must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
✓ School administrators will establish protocols for greeting visitors.
✓ Visitors must wear facial coverings while on school campus or attending a school activity.
