As we begin this new year, I want to provide an update on our progress in leveraging technology to empower both students and educators across our District. Our vision is to create an innovative and safe digital learning environment that enables every student to reach their full potential. This summer, we were proud to host 24 student interns representing our District schools in our awarded 14th IT Internship Program. Our interns worked on projects across our IT departments including critical initiatives like network upgrades, project management, device deployment, and cybersecurity. It was so rewarding to see them develop hands-on technology skills that will serve them well in their future careers. I want to thank all of the IT mentors who provided such a meaningful experience for these young people.Over the summer, we made significant infrastructure and system upgrades, and also updated network infrastructure and equipment at several of our schools most in need. This expands our capacity to support the latest classroom technology and gives us a robust foundation as we continue integrating new digital tools, and ensure a successful start of the new school year.WELCOME TO THE FY26-27 BACK TO SCHOOL EDITION OFTECHNOLOGY IN MOTION FOR EDUCATION (TIME).EMPOWERINGSTUDENTS AND EDUCATORS THROUGH INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY ANDEXCEPTIONAL SERVICECybersecurity remains a huge priority for our District.
