BOARDDOCS
REPLACEMENT COMING
For several years, BoardDocs has been the software tool used to manage
School Board meetings, Board agendas, and Board policies. Similarly,
BoardDocs LT has been used to manage Board Advisory Committees
such as CORC and TAC. Earlier this year, the BoardDocs vendor, Diligent,
announced that BoardDocs and BoardDocs LT will no longer be supported
after June 2026 and will be replaced by their new flagship product, Diligent
Community. Diligent Community offers a new, updated, and mobile-friendly
user interface and new features such as combining the BoardDocs and
BoardDocs LT products into one product. After receiving a few Diligent
Community demonstrations, the decision was made to migrate to Diligent
Community toward the end of 2025.
The project started in June and Go Live will be in the November/December
2025 timeframe. Current BoardDocs users, including Board members, Board
Advisory Committee members, the Board Office, and those who submit
Board agenda items will receive software training from the vendor and the
vendor will be on-site as needed during the migration and training process.

OCC & IMAGEQUEST LT
UPGRADES
In June 2025, the OpenText Capture Center (OCC) software application was
updated to the latest vendor supported version. OCC is used, in conjunction
with ImageQuest, to scan vendor invoices, process them via an automated
workflow, then view each invoice as needed directly from within PeopleSoft.
This upgrade deployed completely updated application code, which included
features to streamline the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine
and a unified configuration to allow for better testing across PeopleSoft
environments. Both the ERP/PeopleSoft and Accounting teams performed
extensive testing before the updated production code was deployed.
Fall 2025 will include an upgrade to the District’s Document Management
System (ImageQuest). This upgrade, which addresses known bugs and
ensures compatibility with the latest vendor supported model, will include
a move to a new database and application servers, which house over 6TB
of ImageQuest data. Server, Database and IT Tech Ops Teams are working
collaboratively to ensure this upgrade will be successful with minimal
disruption to daily operations.
