George Alexander

IT TECHNICAL OPERATIONS
Technical Analyst III

George Alexander was a temp on the Device Repair Team in the Technical
Operations Department for the past six months when he was hired into a
full-time job on the same team in October. He has become an integral part
of the device repair function, and his colleagues were excited to have him
officially join the District as a full-time employee. When not working, George
enjoys cooking and listening to music. Cooking different cuisines and new
foods is his favorite. George also enjoys the evolution of technology and its
advancement.

Joanne Guillaume

IT INFRASTRUCTURE
Systems Technician I

Joanne Guillaume joined the Network Services team in Fall 2024, bringing
with her a strong foundation in technology and a passion for problem-solving.
A graduate of Royal Palm High School, she began her journey in the IT field
during the 2024 Internship Program, where she made significant contributions
to the department. During her internship, Joanne played a key role in the
LAN and Wireless Upgrade project, demonstrating her technical skills and
dedication to enhancing the District’s network. Her performance caught the
attention of her supervisor, leading to her being hired for the IT Service Desk
shortly thereafter. In that role, Joanne excelled in assisting customers with
implementing MFA, showcasing her ability to communicate complex technical
concepts in an accessible manner. Just a few weeks after her tenure at the
Service Desk, Joanne secured a permanent position as a System Technician
with Network Services. Since joining the team, she has become a valued
member, earning the respect and appreciation of her colleagues for her
expertise and collaborative spirit. Outside of her professional life, Joanne is
passionate about working on her car, turning her love for mechanics into a
fulfilling hobby. Her blend of technical skills and personal interest make her a
well-rounded individual in the workplace and beyond.
