                   A SUCCESSFUL ST

This summer, the District selected CrisisAlert by Centegix as the panic button
solution for all schools and ancillary sites, in compliance with Alyssa’s Law.
Centegix provides a badge, in addition to your employee ID badge, to all
District staff that will be used to initiate either a Staff Alert or a Code
                                            Red Lockdown.

                                            • Staff Alerts (3 clicks) are for incidents on campus that require assistance,
such as a fight, minor injury, etc. Staff Alerts stay within the building and
only Site Admins and Site Responders receive the notifications.

                                            • Code Red Lockdowns (8+clicks) are only for the most serious incidents
like Active Shooter, Gun on Campus, etc. Code Red Lockdowns will
call the local 911 center as well as School Police Dispatch and First
Responders will be sent. In addition to calling 911, a Code Red Lockdown
will flash red strobes across the campus, chirp for attention, and very
soon, will be connected to the intercom systems for automated messages.

                                            • There are also color-coded alerts for Evacuation (Code Blue), Lock-Out
(Code Yellow) and All Clear (Code Green). These codes, however, will
                                               NOT dial 911.

After Board approval on June 15, 2022, project work commenced on June
20th with IT PMO Manager, Angie Bergt, as Lead PM and IT PMO Director,
Michael Callahan, as Project Advisor. The mandate from District Leadership
was to complete all 180 schools by August 9th to allow the system to be
fully functional at all schools on August 10th, the first day students returned
to school. This required clearing the decks and, ultimately, the entire PMO
team assisted on the project in some capacity. The other District groups and
individuals whose involvement and assistance were critical are outlined below.
