DEPLOYED TO DISTRICT OPERATED SCHOOLS
Teaching with Technology Trailblazers is an exciting program brought to
you by the departments of Educational Technology, Information Technology
(IT), and Teaching & Learning. This program ties professional growth
opportunities to classroom technology deployments. This program enables
principal-selected teacher leaders to become Digital Classroom experts,
which we call Trailblazers within the District. These teachers will build the
school’s digital culture by learning to use tools and a common language
through instructional practice tied to standards. Trailblazers will have the
training, tools and a support team to deliver instruction for an engaging
classroom that today’s students have evolved to expect. In 2018 alone, IT
was able to deploy 25,000+ Chromebooks to help keep up with the demand
of this popular program.
