STUDENT RECORD

     SUBPOENA

     PROCESS IMPROVED

With Dominique Hyppolites’ retirement in October 2022, the opportunity
presented itself to update and improve the student record subpoena process.
When a school receives a student records-related subpoena, it should be
     forwarded to recordsmanagement@palmbeachschools.org. Records
Management now submits an eSupport ticket to track each subpoena and
ensure each required step is completed in a timely fashion. This means the
subpoena process is no longer routed only through an individual. Any Records
Management staff member can look up a subpoena eSupport ticket and assist
to answer questions or further the process along.

Questions related to the new process may be directed to Lucy Ungaro at
     recordsmanagement@palmbeachschools.org or 434-7373.

     HR CASE MANAGEMENT

     SYSTEM GOES LIVE

The Professional Development Department in the Human Resources Division
recently launched a new case management system, called HR Acuity, to
manage their investigation cases. HR Acuity allows investigators to track all
relevant details of a case in one system. HR leaders can view status reports
on one or more cases and/or reports based on customized data analytics.
Lastly, all relevant case records are easily produced if and when a particular
case goes to the Board, arbitration, or court.

The Professional Standards Department is the HR Acuity product owner.. The
HR Acuity vendor provided project management services to implement the
system, and ERP staff provided technical support to build the necessary feed
of employee data between our PeopleSoft HR system and HR Acuity.
