Master Schedule Analysis
In FY22, the District continued to expand the Master Schedule Analysis system by including new ways
for Elementary Principals to influence outgoing student schedules. Elementary school principals
personally recommended proposed schedules for their students entering 6th grade to ensure that
we are scheduling each student based on their potential.
• The revised course recommendation process for students entering 6th grade increases
elementary schools’ ability to influence their middle school coursework.
• There is continued in-depth analysis of course requests and scheduling at all middle and high
schools, emphasizing identifying barriers to success in higher-level coursework.
The goal of the Master Schedule Analysis is to strengthen the system approach for creating
cohesiveness and alignment at the elementary, middle, and high school levels to ensure students have
access to rigorous coursework and receive the appropriate support to be successful, competitive,
and reach their full potential (See tables below).
