Teacher Ambassador Program
The Teacher Ambassador Pilot, now the Teacher Ambassador Program, is a partnership between
        Recruitment & Retention and Professional Development. It’s a two-year pilot program (FY19 & FY20)
to support and onboard new teachers in Palm Beach County School District through the Educator
Support Program and research-based onboarding practices. The pilot started with 10 schools and,
due to its success, has expanded to 17 schools.

        Employee Resource Groups
The Employee Resource Groups (ERG) Pilot, an initiative of the Department of Recruitment and
Retention, is continuing to grow. The ERGs serve as a means to harness our employees’ talents
and productive energy, provide opportunities for professional growth, and foster an inclusive
organizational culture. The ERGs are employee-led and are formed around common demographics,
characteristics, or shared interests. Membership is open to all SDPBC employees, and registration is
        available via the District’s Hub.

The Black Excellence, EmpowerHER, Great Beginnings, Haitians Stronger Together, Hispanic, and
Pride in SDPBC have all elected a president and secretary. These officers facilitate the monthly
meetings with the support of the Human Resources Advocate and Executive Liaison.

        “Starstruck by You” Campaign
This year we recognized Public Schools Week during February 21 - February 25. The goal of the
“We’re Starstruck by You, PBC!” campaign sponsored by the Department of Recruitment and
Retention was to acknowledge the hard work of all employees who together make this a high-
        achieving, A-rated District.
