• Offer over 300 expanded learning opportunities to students through a partnership with Primetime.
• Offer over 50 professional development opportunities to staff.

Middle School Afterschool
The Middle School Afterschool (MSAS) program helps young
people establish strong and positive relationships with adults.
The intention is to build on the young person’s strengths and
provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages
healthy relationships with their peers as well. The 35 MSAS
programs were able to support its participants’ social, emotional,
cognitive, physical, and academic development by:
• Celebrating the annual “LIGHTS ON!” event to show all of the
wonderful ways MSAS is keeping the lights on afterschool
for our students and why the programs are so important.
• Implementing skills for learning and life.
• Continued partnership with Palm Beach County Parks and
Recreation.
• Formulating partnerships with the Cox Science Center and
First Lego League to prepare our students for the future
while exposing them to STEM.
