                                    EDUCATE | AFFIRM | INSPIRE 155ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS ACADEMYThe Administrative Assistants Academy strengthened the skills of staff supporting high-priority District initiatives through a yearlong professional learning program. Structured opportunities enabled administrative personnel to expand their knowledge, improve daily effectiveness, and prepare for career advancement.The program features two distinct learning opportunities:%u2022 Fall Professional Learning SeriesFifteen departments collaborated to deliver more than 70 sessions across self-paced, virtual, and in-person formats. Flexible scheduling maximized employee participation without compromising departmental efficiency. Departments including School Police, Budget, Accounting, Educational Technology, Recruitment & Retention, and Elementary and Secondary Education participated, demonstrating broad engagement.%u2022 Spring Summit of ExcellenceThe culminating conference served 296 administrative professionals, offering whole-group learning and targeted breakout sessions aligned with District priorities. This event reinforced cross-departmental collaboration and professional growth.Ongoing feedback ensured the academy remained responsive to staff needs, reinforcing the District%u2019s commitment to supporting and developing this essential workforce.DISTRICT LEADERSHIP ACADEMYThe District Leadership Academy (DLA) boosted employee engagement in FY26 by providing administrators, support staff, and aspiring leaders with targeted training and relevant resources. These learning experiences align with the Florida Educational Leadership Standards to strengthen leadership capacity across departments. DLA Leaders of Tomorrow inaugural class To deepen understanding of District operations, the department continued the virtual Lunch and Learn series. These sessions encouraged cross-departmental collaboration and highlighted achievements that benefit stakeholders. Monthly sessions engaged more than 500 employees through live and recorded formats, strengthening organizational connections.Structured training delivered through the Leaders of Tomorrow program provided emerging and current managers with an 11-month, skill-focused experience centered on collaboration. During FY26, 23 participants completed the program, strengthening the District%u2019s leadership pipeline.
