24 SUPERINTENDENT ANNUAL REPORTHIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONThe overall graduation rate for the District in FY25 was 93.5%*. District-operated schools attained a 96.7% rate. Since FY24, the graduation rate has increased or remained stable across every student subgroup. These achievements meet or exceed the FY21 graduation rates for most subgroups, despite the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) granting an assessment waiver due to COVID-19. Through partnerships with industry leaders and community organizations, the department expands programs aligned with regional workforce needs, equipping individuals with the skills to secure employment and contribute to a highly skilled workforce.To expand career options, the department is growing its Career Dual-Enrollment programs from one site to three and from one program to seven. This expansion increases opportunities for high school students to engage in career-focused training that provides accelerated credit and hands-on industry experience.
