50 SUPERINTENDENT ANNUAL REPORTFAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTBy partnering with teacher leaders across numerous campuses, the Department of Multicultural Education implemented cross-age literacy tutoring at 21 distinct locations. Leadership initiatives were also spearheaded at prominent community gatherings, such as Fiesta de Pueblo. Furthermore, six International Spanish Academy (ISA) sites upheld a distinguished collaboration with the Norton Museum of Art. High school ISA students engaged in specialized coursework to qualify as museum gu%u00edas, serving as official bilingual guides for the community. These students provide Spanish-language interpretation of celebrated masterpieces for visitors. This impactful program allows participants to deepen their artistic appreciation while developing professional expertise and essential career-ready skills.John I.
