                                    EDUCATE | AFFIRM | INSPIRE 79STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENTThe Department of Strategic Communications & Engagement continued to promote the District as %u201cYour Best Choice.%u201d The Chief of Strategic Communications & Engagement led the Superintendent%u2019s Enrollment Strategy Committee in reviewing practices and recommending operational improvements to increase student enrollment. FY26 accomplishments included:%u2022 Targeted Enrollment MarketingMultimedia campaigns for kindergarten registration, Choice programs, Controlled Open Enrollment, and employee recruitment spanned television, radio, movie theaters, digital ads, and social media.%u2022 School-Based SupportStaff produced 150 videos for 50 campuses and provided specialized support for school websites. Collaborative efforts gave schools high-quality, informative, and welcoming digital spaces to showcase their unique programs. The department also supplied campuses with marketing tools and social media tips to boost enrollment.%u2022 SurveyA text-message survey was sent to non-returnng families to gather feedback and insights to inform improvements and future recruitment strategies. %u2022 Digital Growth and EngagementDistrict social media grew by more than 22,000 followers, with content available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Email newsletters achieved a 56% open rate, 19% above the industry average.%u2022 Earned Media and Reputation Management Strategic media pitches secured frequent positive coverage of student, staff, and school achievements.
