78 SUPERINTENDENT ANNUAL REPORTSTRENGTHENING STUDENT SUCCESS THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP SCHOOLSThe District deepened its commitment to Community Partnership Schools by strengthening a shared leadership model with key partners, including Children%u2019s Home Services, the Healthcare District of Palm Beach County, and Florida Atlantic University. Cross-sector collaboration continued to provide a comprehensive wraparound approach addressing academic and non-academic barriers to student success. Targeted efforts remained focused on improving literacy, expanding access to healthcare, reducing chronic absenteeism, and enhancing college and career readiness.Integrated support at each site includes school-based clinics, coordinated food distribution, and school-site councils. These local groups ensure services remain responsive to community needs. School-level data highlights the specific impact of these initiatives. At John F. Kennedy Middle School, recent outcomes feature:%u2022 Academic Motivation: Six hundred of 700 students met the eligibility criteria for Field Day participation.%u2022 School Grade Progression: The campus maintains a %u201cB%u201d rating and is working toward an %u201cA%u201d through targeted instruction, data-driven planning, professional learning, and intervention cycles.%u2022 Behavioral Improvements: Suspension rates decreased from 23% to 9.2%.%u2022 Program Expansion: A proposed Marching Band Magnet Program aims to increase enrollment, strengthen school culture, and expand student engagement opportunities.Furthermore, health services provided by the Warrior Mobile Unit included 21 visits for 11 patients in January. Results indicate that dental and optometry needs remain the highest priority for students and community members. Expanding health education programming supports the District%u2019s focus on student well-being and reinforces the importance of accessible care.
