The Portal supports the District%u2019s Strategic Plan Initiative B.2a. As a centralized hub, the portal helps students and families navigate District processes to meet educational goals. Implementation of the platform expanded secure digital access to seven core District applications and tools:%u2022 Athletics (Aktivate)%u2022 Extended Learning (Eleyo)%u2022 Find My School%u2022 Here Comes the Bus%u2022 Register Your Ride%u2022 School Cash Online%u2022 The School Choice platformFollowing the launch, a communications campaign informed families about the new portal features and encouraged them to register for SIS Gateway accounts. Outreach efforts focused on raising awareness and keeping families actively engaged in their students%u2019 education. Data show the campaign%u2019s impact, with family engagement rising from 78,217 students with at least one linked parent or guardian account in FY25 to 84,006 in FY26. This growth reinforces the District%u2019s commitment to expanding access to information and supporting student success.HERE COMES THE BUS APPLICATIONBuilding on its successful FY25 rollout across all District buses, the Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) application achieved significant growth and impact in FY26. The app provides families with real-time tracking and peace of mind through secure, instant notifications about their child%u2019s bus pick-up and drop-off times.In FY26, the platform%u2019s user base grew by more than 5,000 accounts to 23,106 registered users, marking a major milestone in the department%u2019s ongoing efforts to improve communication, safety, and transparency throughout the community. Benefits and Operational ImpactBy streamlining communication and providing parents with customizable maps on smartphones, tablets, and computers, the HCTB app delivered improvements to District operations.%u2022 Automated alerts notify parents as buses approach their designated stops, reducing student wait times and missed pickups.%u2022 Real-time tracking eliminated the need for parents to contact schools directly to check on a bus%u2019s status.%u2022 Increased punctuality at stops reduced overall route times across the District.
