Use of this technology supports the staff’s need to efficiently and effectively operate the
               School Food Service program; including the processing of meal benefit applications, housing
               the student database needed for program operations, the consolidation and submission of
               reimbursement claims, the strategic planning and documentation for the department,
               communication within and outside the District, and menu production, among other
               applications.

               Within the next five years, School Food Service will need to upgrade all computers and
               touchscreens for the department. The team will be expanding the vending machine program,
               and implementing digital menu boards District-wide.  Additionally, they will be expanding the
               breakfast cart program and beginning a safety program with digital thermometers. School
               Food Service will continue to need support from IT with regard to improved wireless
               capability, standard network capability, server support, SharePoint, TRIRIGA and assistance
               with developing web-based solutions for operational needs, to name a few.


               Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) – IBM TRIRIGA
               IBM TRIRIGA provides a single system to manage the lifecycle of facilities. Its integrated
               workplace management system increases the operational, financial and environmental
               performance of facilities. Through business analytics, critical alerts and automated process
               capabilities, IBM TRIRIGA can increase visibility, control and automation of:

                     Facility Management
                     Real Estate Management
                     Capital Projects
                     Space Management
                     Energy Management

               The Operations Division currently utilizes IBM TRIRIGA to effectively manage the work of
               many departments within the District including Maintenance & Plant Operations, School
               Food Services, Planning & Intergovernmental Relations, Security Systems, Transportation
               Services, Program Management, Building Code Services and Environmental Control
               Services.

               IBM TRIRIGA provides the District with a very flexible and robust platform that enables better
               management and governance across the Facilities Division which includes School &
               Administrative Facilities Work Order Management, School Space Leasing Administration &
               Management, Transportation Call Center, Inventory Management, and Service & Warranty
               Management. The IBM TRIRIGA solution also provides powerful analytical and effective
               performance management tools to track and measure progress towards District and Division
               strategic objectives.
