TAKE YOUR CHILD

TO WORK DAY

The last issue of TIME reported on
the annual Take Your Child to Work
Day which this year was enjoyed
by more than a dozen young
dependents of IT Division staff
members.

This year, in addition to the
previously described events, Major
Robin Griffin-Kitzerow from School
Police held a safety talk with the
children.

Another special event held for the
kids was an art activity led by Kate
Quattrone where the children created
colorful storybooks about themselves
and made mementos for their
parents. Kate, a first grade teacher
in the District of Columbia Public
Schools, was residing temporarily
in West Palm Beach. The visiting
teacher skillfully set IT’s children to
expressing their artistic talent as she
does summers with groups visiting
The National Gallery of Art. The
day finished with children receiving
Certificates of Accomplishment from
the CIO, Deepak Agarwal.
