IT INFRASTRUCTURE AIDS

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

Over the past few months, the IT Infrastructure Team has been helping out at
the Boys & Girls Club at several schools in the Belle Glade area. Through a
grant, Tech Garage is providing after-school training and support to students
to start competitive robotics teams in Palm Beach County.

The STEM HQ mission is to develop self-sustainable models for educational
robotics programs engaging young minds in building science, technology,
engineering, and math skills, while simultaneously inspiring innovation and
creativity. Additionally, students learn to work collaboratively as a team. The
program helps foster confidence, communication, and leadership.

After several meetings for requirements gathering, the IT Infrastructure
Team helped acquire technical devices including 3D printers, laser cutters,
raspberry pi, and laptops. The after-school program is positively impacting
thousands of youth throughout the Glades area.
