            administrative action(s) taken, if required.

Prior to the point(s) assessment, which could result in a recommendation for suspension, termination, or
other Board action, a review of the specific circumstances will be held with the employee.

Please note that a driver may be suspended from driving duties with or without pay pending court action.

Points will not be recognized or have a punitive effect if they are older than three (3) years from the effective
date of assignment of the points.

An accumulation of points for traffic citations as reflected in the DHSMV Driver record or recommended by
VARC will result in recommendations for disciplinary action as indicated below:

Implementation of the above does not in any way preclude disciplinary action up to and including dismissal
against any employee for violations not specifically listed in this Safe Driver Plan, or for violation of any
expressed work rule, order, policy and/or reasonable management expectation. The School Board reserves
the right to issue points and take disciplinary action up to and including dismissal when it considers the offense

welfare are at risk, and/or in cases of restriction, including disqualification, cancellation, expired, suspension
or revocation of a driver’s license.

Employees who are dismissed under this Safe Driver Plan may reapply for employment into non-driving
            positions.
