Wellness Promotion Collaboration Team
Wellness Promotion Collaboration Team (WPCT)
In FY21, the Wellness Promotion Collaboration Team (WPCT) continued to move wellness initiatives forward.
This organized team must meet at least bi-annually per the Wellness Promotion Policy (WPP–2.035) and we
had six (6) prescheduled meetings and met three times in FY21. We cancelled three meetings due to the
COVID-19 pandemic. The membership of the WPCT team continued to grow in FY21 and it included many
members knowledgeable about all of the ten (10) WSCC components as we worked in tandem to support the
District’s compliance with this Policy and our overall wellness efforts.
The WPCT SharePoint site continued to be shared by the WPCT to collaborate and include agendas, contacts,
resources, and a shared Google calendar for events to be included for all of the 10 WSCC components.

Due to the pandemic and its limitations, the WPCT discussed the postponement of the ‘WPP–2.035 School
Assessment’ in FY21 and the WPP–2.035 revisions and adoption until FY22 and FY23, respectively.
