COMMUNITY
“I’m very appreciative of the community wellness partners and their commitment
to educate, affirm and inspire our students and staff to live healthy and fulfilling
lives.”
Joe Sanches
Chief Operating Officer
“Focusing on wellness for our students and staff is imperative if we are going
to succeed in the District’s mission ‘to educate, affirm, and inspire each student in
an equity-embedded school system’. Physical school safety and student and staff
mental and physical health initiatives have been implemented throughout the
year and are highlighted in this annual report. We thank all of our stakeholders
for the collaboration to make a positive impact in our District’s wellness journey.”
Allison Monbleau
School Food Service Director
“As we put together this year’s Wellness Promotion Policy Annual Report…I kept
reflecting on our annual theme...‘Your Time to Shine’...and realized that we are
all in this wellness journey together to support our students, families, staff, and
our community-at-large, to make everyone reach their full potential and SHINE.
This annual report emphasizes how our District puts the Whole School, Whole
Community, Whole Child (WSCC) culture into best practices throughout the school
year with purpose, commitment, dedication, passion, and love.”
