SFS also operated the Afterschool Snack Program (ASSP), which provided snacks for students participating in an academic enrichment program after the regular school day. Like CCFP, the schools that can participate in the Snack Program must be area eligible. During the school year, a total of 117 Afterschool Snack Programs were operated, serving approximately 1.4 million snacks. The After-School Power-Up: Meals and SnacksFueling Summer Fun: Free Meals for KidsNutrition Environment & ServicesDuring the summer of 2025, the Summer Food Service Program was offered at schools and locations providing summer sessions.
