Instructions were also included on how to access menus, nutritional and allergen details, as well as information on how school menus are designed to meet the needs of the District%u2019s diverse student population. The postcard provided information in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.Additionally, the SFS Marketing and Nutrition teams worked throughout the school year to design promotional and educational materials for schools featuring special menu offerings during nationally recognized celebration days such as Earth Day and Lunar New Year. Menu promotions were also created to promote cultural awareness, highlighting Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Haitian Heritage Month among others.Dining Room Takeaway: Menu Facts & FunThe unique Napkin Dispenser Insert Campaign was lunched to turn everyday lunchroom items into engaging communication tools. Utilizing lunchroom napkin dispensers directly reached students with timely, eye-catching messages. These inserts served a triple purpose: highlighting menu promotions, providing quick bursts of nutrition education, and actively encouraging students to try new items. This innovative approach maximized visibility and engagement, making the dispensers a surprising new platform for promoting healthier choices and School Food Service initiatives.Nutrition Environment & Services
