Google Apps Rebranded as “G Suite”

Google recently announced its now ten-year-old service, Google Apps for Education,
has been rebranded as “G Suite for Education”. G Suite apps are commonly
used by students and employees throughout our School District, and include Gmail,
Calendar, Google Classroom, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts,
and more.

Google claims the name better reflects their mission of helping students, teachers,
and employees work and innovate together. Click here for Google’s article

IBM TRIRIGA Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base feature of IBM TRIRIGA has been newly implemented for the
Contact Center module used by the Transportation Call Center. Now, agents can
easily find and verify the proper procedure for responding to 15 of the most common
types of requests using the provided solution instructions. The Knowledge Base
keeps track of solution records used and their effectiveness. Revising and adding
solution instructions can be handled quickly by the Call Center staff. This new feature
will help the Transportation Call Center provide faster, more efficient resolution to
customers calling with transportation-related issues.
