FY22 Accomplishments:
• Addison Mizner K-8 Modernization, Washington ES Modernization, Citrus Cove ES Core
Expansion, and Plumosa SOA K-8 Expansion remodel projects all completed in 2021.
• West Tech and Delray Full Service remodel are under construction; both will be completed by
spring/winter 2022.
• Blue Lake ES (05-C) began construction in summer 2021 and was completed August 2022.
• Lake Worth Area HS (03-OOO) began construction in summer 2021 and will be completed by
August 2023.
• Sunset Palms MS (17-PP), Grove Park ES modernization, and Melaleuca ES modernization
projects will begin in the summer of 2022, with the opening of each expected in August 2023.
• Wynnebrook ES modernization, Pine Grove ES modernization, and West Riviera ES
modernization are under design and expected to begin construction in summer 2023.
• Twenty-five security enhancement projects were completed, with another 65 in the planning
stage.
• Over 110 security camera upgrade projects were completed.
• Furniture was replaced in 22 schools.
• Twenty-eight facility renewal projects, deferred maintenance, critical repairs to roofs and
building envelopes, HVAC, fire alarm/intercom, lighting, CSIR findings, and other improvements
are currently underway. Eleven projects are expected to finish in the summer/fall of 2022, and
17 begin construction during the summer/fall of 2022.
• Thirty-one more facility renewal projects will be in the design and permitting stage during
summer 2022.
• One hundred and seventy-five minor projects (e.g., modular classroom relocations, stairway
replacements, roof repairs, drainage improvements, digital marquees, and switchgear upgrades)
are in process or were completed in FY22.
