FAST is the new state progress monitoring system implemented in FY23. Since this is the first administration of these
assessments and standards, comparisons to prior years should be made with caution. Figures 7 and 8 detail the difference in
the percentage of students scoring on grade level between students in accelerated math courses and those in regular math
courses by subgroup. Across subgroups, students in accelerated courses outperform students in regular courses.
